KAMINDO Maco Washi Tape Holder

Maco is a pen-sized masking tape holder that allows you to hold masking tape more compactly than ever before.

Using the "small roll" and special core included with the main unit, you can rewind commercially available masking tape into small rolls with a diameter of approximately 10mm and set them in the main unit of the case, allowing you to compactly carry up to four patterns of tape in a pencil case or pouch.

The main body is equipped with a tape cutter, allowing for clean cuts without using scissors. While you still have the joy of using masking tape in any length you like, you can now use masking tape in your favourite pattern in a more fun and convenient way, whether you're traveling, at the office, or at school.

Masking tape is not included with Maco. Please use the tape you have on hand.

The "Komaki core" included with the main unit and sold separately is for 15-20mm wide tape.

Tapes other than 15mm wide/18mm wide/20mm wide cannot be used with Maco.

You can use the "Komaki core" by re-bending it. If you want to change a lot of rolls, please purchase the "Komaki Core" (10 rolls), which is sold separately.

Maco is for right-hand dashi only. A typical masking tape is left-hand tape, and if you rewind the left-hand tape handle with a small winder, it becomes right-hand tape. (The handle top and bottom remain the same.) If you wrap the masking tape on the right hemming stick with a "small roll" and set it on the Maco, the handle top and bottom will be reversed.

Prepare commercially available masking tape )15-20mm), a small roll, and a komaki core.

Place the komaki core into the small roll as shown in the picture.

Hold the small roll and tape as shown in the picture and attach the end of the tape attach the end of the tape horizontally to the komaki core.

Use your fingers to firmly grip the small roll, and without moving the small roll, rotate the tape side along the axis to change the roll.

Once the outer diameter of the wound tape and the rewinder are about the same, cut the end of the tape.

Simply remove the rewound tape from the rewinder and you are done.

When setting it on the main unit, hold the end of the tape and insert it from below.

There are a maximum of four small rolls of tape that can be set on the main unit. For 18-20mm, a maximum of three small rolls of tape can be set.
